The Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR), in collaboration with the International Centre for Evaluation and Development (ICED), the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), and the Research and Evaluation Center (REC), is pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for the 9th Evidence to Action (E2A) Conference and Exhibition, taking place from June 22–26, 2026, at the ISSER Auditorium, University of Ghana.
Held under the theme “Reimagining the Evidence-Informed Policy and Decision-Making Ecosystem in Africa,” E2A 2026 will bring together policymakers, researchers, evaluators, practitioners, civil society, funders, and knowledge intermediaries to shape the future of Africa’s evidence-to-action landscape.
At a time when the continent is navigating complex challenges, from post-COVID recovery to climate resilience, food security, and technological disruption, E2A 2026 provides a continental platform to document African evidence practices, amplify African leadership, and co-create pathways for more inclusive, context-driven policymaking.
The conference aims to:
Participants will engage through plenary sessions, thematic panels, co-creation labs, evidence fairs, policy dialogues, and an exhibition showcasing African policy innovations.
Call for Abstracts
We invite submissions from researchers, practitioners, evaluators, policymakers, and evidence users across all sectors. Abstracts may focus on research studies, evaluations, evidence synthesis products, innovations in evidence uptake, or methodological advances.
