Utafiti Sera Inter-House Learning Convening

Since its inception in 2015, PASGR’s Utafiti Sera Houses have been implementing projects that addresses pertinent policy issues of national interests within African countries. The houses include; Urban Governance, Nairobi; Urban governance Kigali; Youth Employment Creation, Kenya; Action for Empowerment and Accountability (A4EA); Social Protection, Kenya; Water Governance, Kenya; and Youth Aspirations and Resilience (YAR) in seven African countries. Through the community of practice (Houses) approach, the Utafiti Sera programme has grown phenomenally since its inception, expanding the frontiers of EIDM in Africa

The Inter-house convening brings together key actors in the Utafiti Sera Houses to collaborate, share experiences and lessons learnt on the best strategies for policy uptake. Together and informed by crosscutting strengths and disciplinary backgrounds, the convening will create a platform for various houses to showcase the most compelling evidence and uptake tools. Participants will have an opportunity to draw on their past experiences with aim of re-thinking the future of Utafiti Sera.
